Robbie Williams was thrown off a stage at a show in Germany last night, his attacker is believed to have psychiatric problems. The 20-year old German was taken to a doctor for a psychiatric assessment.

The show was at the Schleyerhalle Stadium in Stuttgart, Germany. The attacker was convinced that the person on stage, Robbie, was infact a clone. He charged at Robbie from behind, knocking him into the security pit. The singer was examined by a doctor. He had not suffered serious physical injuries but was shocked by the incident.

A police spokesman told BBC News: "A 20-year-old man managed to get from the auditorium into the backstage area of the Schleyerhalle at around 10.05pm last night. He got onto the stage while Robbie Williams was singing, ran at him from behind and pushed him in the back. Robbie Williams did not see him coming, as he was concentrating on the song and the audience, and he fell from the stage into the security area."
