 Playgroup is the brainchild of Trevor Jackson, known to hip-hop heads as the Underdog. He's remixed over sixty tracks for the likes of U2, Massive Attack, Unkle and Death In Vegas.
This is the culmination of the man's musical career. The sound he has produced is familiar, yet still very original.
Number One is the opener on Playgroup's eponymous album. It features Luca Santucci on hooky vocals over a fantastically funky bass-line. The track is incredibly funky, a quick bass under those catchy vocals.
Very, very funky.
