Elbow will undertake their most extensive tour yet in October. The shows culminate in a gig at the London's Astoria which will be their biggest headlining date thus far.

The band will also be appearing at the Carling Weekend (Reading on 25 August and Leeds on 26 August). They follow the October dates below with a string of shows in mainland Europe.

The band's next single will be Newborn to be released in October. They are looking for extras for the video. The video shoot takes place today (14 August) at the Dancehouse Theatre in Manchester (10 Oxford Road, Manchester, M1).

Fans who would like to participate will need to be at the theatre for 4.00pm and will need to be wearing blue clothing to take part. All attendees are encouraged to get down there in plenty of time to guarantee their place in the video.
